How Is Your Information Stored and Protected?

All of the storage systems we use are contained to our AWS accounts and use a combination of AWS certificates and user/password authentication to access. The mechanisms to access the information are only provided to Forward Logic employees who require access.

Use of Cookies and Tracking

We do not use any 3rd party tracking technologies, so no 3rd party cookies are present on any of our properties.

We do use our own logging system, JustLog.IT, to track user actions as they progress through our web applications and properties. We track these actions to help us determine what users/visitors are using our systems for so we know where to focus our efforts in making improvements.

Our web applications will use cookies for the following purposes:

  • Storing Login Tokens. This allows our users to stay logged in during use of our applications.
  • Storing User Choices. When users make choices we will store some of these so they persist between web sessions.

Our web properties will use cookies for the following purposes:

  • User Correlation. Our JustLog.IT system will drop a cookie with a meaningless, random identifier which we use to monitor user flows through our property. This identifier contains no personally identifiable information, it is simply a timestamp with a random number appended to it.
